Knight's & Magic (ナイツ&マジック Naitsu ando Magikku?) is a 2017 anime television series by studio 8-bit. Airing in the Summer of 2017, it is an adaptation of the light novel of the same name.
Plot[]
Mecha otaku Kurata Tsubasa is reincarnated into another world as Ernesti Echevalier, also known as Eru. In this world exists huge humanoid weapons known as Silhouette Knights. Dreaming of piloting those robots, Eru, with tobekilKnights.

2016's 19th issue of Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine announced on 2016-09-16 that the first volume of the manga would have an "important announcement" on its wrap-around jacket band. The volume shipped on 2016-09-24 and the announcement would later also be on a Young Gangan's 20th issue on 2016-10-07. Said announcement was the anime adaptation of the light novel [1]. Mangaka Takuji Katō posted an illustration on 2016-09-22 celebrating the announcement.
Yusuke Yamamoto (Welcome to the NHK, Walkure Romanze) is directed the anime at the studio 8-Bit. Michiko Yokote (Shirobako, ReLIFE) was put in charge of the anime's scripts. The character design was done by Kenichirō Katsura (Macross 7, NAKAIMO - My Little Sister Is Among Them!). Masato Kōda (Maria the Virgin Witch, KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!!) composed music. Kurogin did the mecha design [2], as did Hidetaka Tenjin. The key animation for the opening was done by Hideki Sakai.

The anime began airing weekly on AT-X, Tokyo MX KBS Kyoto and Crunchyroll (Premium) on July 2, 2017 with Sun Television airing episodes one day later, BS11 three days later and Crunchyroll (Free) one week later.
